Sustainable Twin Ports announces class of Early Adopters

Sustainable Twin Ports would like to announce the members of our 2013 class of Early Adopters. This group marks the 5th class of Twin Ports Early Adopters trained by Sustainable Twin Ports since 2008-2009.

Over the course of the next six months these four organizations will receive comprehensive and strategic training in sustainability and will create their own course of action to achieve their goals. This is the beginning of an important process that these organizations have committed to. Training for these four organizations will begin March 14th 2013 and will conclude August 15th 2013. There will be a Public Showcase in October 2013 to highlight and celebrate each group’s sustainable and strategic plans.

The 2013 Sustainable Twin Ports Early Adopters are:

• Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa

• Lake Superior College

• Canal Park Brewing Company

• University of Wisconsin-Superior

Sustainable Twin Ports is a Duluth-Superior based 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that facilitates a training that teaches businesses and organizations how to create a strategic plan towards sustainability. Sustainable Twin Ports is dedicated to furthering economic, environmental & social sustainability in the Twin Ports and western Lake Superior region through education, networking and action.
