Presenters & sponsors wanted for Manufacturing Advantage conference
Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center

12/2/2009

The Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center (NWMOC) and its partners are now accepting presenter and sponsorship applications for the 3rd annual conference, "Manufacturing Advantage: Resources to Survive and Thrive…Discovered!"

The conference will be held on April 29, 2010, on the UW-Stout Campus in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The deadline for applicants is December 11, 2009.

Nearly 200 people attended the second annual conference last spring, which provided 40 dynamic, hands on demonstrations, simulations, and workshops for small to mid-sized manufacturers. This annual conference is hosted by the Northwest Wisconsin Manufacturing Outreach Center, Chippewa Valley Technical College, Nicolet Area Technical College, Northcentral Technical College, UW-Stout, Western Technical College, and Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College.

The Manufacturing Advantage Conference is an opportunity to bring manufacturing excellence to the forefront. It provides a forum for manufacturers from across the region to learn best practices and participate in practical learning through hands-on simulations and demonstrations. Our 2010 theme, Resources to Survive and Thrive, focuses on the resources manufacturers may not even be aware of that are available in their own backyard. This is an outstanding opportunity for manufacturers to discover the resources available and to gain tools they can put to immediate use to improve their business.

For more information about attending, presenting, or sponsoring the 2010 Manufacturing Advantage Conference, visit our website at http://nwmoc.uwstout.edu or contact Joni Geroux, Event Chair, at 715.874.4610 or jgeroux3@cvtc.edu.
