Press Releases Human Rights Act training July 21
The Minnesota Department of Human Rights (MDHR) and Duluth Human Rights Commission will present a training showcase for businesses, public service providers and other organizations on their responsibilities under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. The training will take place on Tuesday, July 21 from 1:20 PM- 5:00 PM at Lake Superior College. The topics to be presented are: The ADA and Your Business How does the ADA affect your business? Learn more about how to be compliant with ADA requirements in the workplace. Pamela M. Harris, Attorney, Martin & Squires, P.A. Preventing and Responding to Discrimination and Harassment Complaints Learn ways to prevent and respond to a complaint of discrimination or harassment in the workplace. Therese M. Pautz, Founder and President, NeuVest The Charge Filing Process Hear about real cases that demonstrate how the complaint process works at the MDHR.
