Press Releases UWS Small Business Development Center helps businesses 'Get Moving' with the NxLevel entrepreneurial Training program
SUPERIOR – Individuals thinking about starting a business or expanding an existing business can get expert help at a business plan training program offered by the University of Wisconsin-Superior Small Business Development Center (SBDC). “The Entrepreneurial Training Program” is a business planning course developed for existing businesses, start-up entrepreneurs and people who are thinking about opening a business. It includes eight weekly Thursday sessions beginning April 5, 2007 in Phillips, Webster, and Superior from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Class will be broadcast through the Badgernet Interactive Television System (ITV). Business specialists from the SBDC help participants develop a working Business Plan and learn about Marketing, Advertising, Pricing, Financial Schedules, Record Keeping, Legal Issues, State Regulations, Staffing and Consultants. Follow-up counseling sessions at no charge are also available. Tuition Value $1000: Wisconsin Department of Commerce Grants are available ($750).
