The Duluth Biodiesel Co-op invites the public to its One Year Anniversary Celebration and Open House, Tuesday, June 6, 5- 8 p.m. Come meet co-op members, see vehicles that run on biodiesel and/or straight vegetable oil, and learn about our flourishing co-op.

Since forming in June 2005, the Duluth Biodiesel Co-op has:

. used over 4000 gallons of Midwest-grown biodiesel fuel

. reduced emissions in nearly 40 vehicles by over 70%

. educated countless individuals and businesses about the benefits of biodiesel

. helped supply new biodiesel users in Canada and Northern Wisconsin

. met legend Willie Nelson and filled his tour buses with biodiesel

Our growing community of alternative fuel users is proud to offer an opportunity to meet, network and discuss ways to improve our environment and secure our local economies - just two effects of using biodiesel. Don't forget to mark your calendars, and spread the word.
