The upcoming Regional Economic Indicators Forum will feature a question/answer session with Neel Kashkari, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

It will be held from 7 a.m.-9:30 a.m. on April 3. Networking begins at 7 a.m. followed by the indicators presentation and breakfast at 8 a.m.

The twice-annual event will be held in the DECC Harbor Side Ballroom in Duluth. Advance registration is $25; at the door $30

Kashkari will open the floor to questions such as: 

  • What is our economic outlook?
  • What are the Federal Reserve's monetary policy views?
  • Why are our interest rates where they are?
  • What does the Minneapolis Fed do within the Federal Reserve System?

A poster session of research projects that have been completed by CSS, UMD and UWS students will take place from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. prior to the breakfast.
