The City of Duluth will host a public information meeting about the proposed Essentia Health "Vision Northland" Project in which approximately $675 million will be dedicated towards developing a new modernized medical campus in downtown Duluth.

The plan calls for approximately 815,000 square feet of new space and 115,000 square feet of renovation in existing facilities. Essentia will invest $125 million on related infrastructure and financing. The meeting is open to the public and will take place from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Oct. 30 in the Central Hillside Community Center, 12 East 4th St.

The public meeting will provide the public with information about Vision Northland but also review additional steps for the project such as an Environmental Assessment Worksheet and a Planning Review to be conducted by the Duluth Planning Commission.

Following the meeting, additional information will be available on the city website at www.duluthmn.gov/community-planning/
