Osbakken elected as NECA governor

The Twin Ports Arrowhead Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) elected Rick Osbakken, of Holden Electric, to a two-year term as governor.  He will represent the chapter at all national Board of Governors meetings.

Osbakken opened his first business, Agate Electric in Two Harbors in 1999. In 2015, he purchased Holden Electric in Brainerd, which had been NECA Member since 1958. Since merging the two companies, Osbakken has served as its president and CEO.

Osbakken was elected to his first term on the Chapter Board of Directors in 2007 and was elected treasurer in 2011 (where he served until his recent election to governor). He has represented the chapter at multiple National Convention, events, and training seminars. He serves as on the local health and welfare and pension plans, the Local Labor Management Committee and the Negotiation Committee.
