One Roof Community Housing announced three new hires to support its lending and land trust programs.

Noah Hobbs has been hired as lending director, Dale Lewis as loan officer and Katie Seipel-Anderson as community land trust associate.

Hobbs oversees the lending program at One Roof, which recently became certified as a Community Development Financial Institution. The certification by the U.S. Treasury allows One Roof to expand its lending services to support economic opportunity for residents and businesses in low income communities across the Twin Ports area. He previously worked as a planner for the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) in Virginia. He also is a graduate from UMD and has a Masters degree from Hamline University and serves as an large representative on the Duluth City Council.

Lewis is assisting in the growth of the loan program and working directly with applicants seeking loans for energy efficiency, renovations and general repairs of their homes. She served as president of Park State Bank in Lincoln Park, Morgan Park and Minneapolis for 32 years. Lewis is a graduate of Montana State University and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison.

Seipel-Anderson is responsible for working with One Roof’s Community Land Trust (CLT) homebuyers and homeowners throughout its service area. With more than 275 CLT homes in St Louis, Lake and Carlton counties, the program will be expanding into Cook County in 2017. Seipel-Anderson graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2007 with a BA in Legal Studies and a minor in conflict resolution and mediation. She worked for nine years as a paralegal at Fryberger, Buchanan, Smith & Frederick before joining One Roof this summer.
