CBS 3 morning anchor Briggs LeSavage has been named content manager.

Her knowledge of the market and leadership skills will be useful in the news management role, the television station said in a news release. Savage will also do some reporting for CBS 3 and KBJR 6.

Lyanne Valdez is making the move from weekend anchor to morning anchor.

“I’m extremely excited and honored to be waking up with the Twin Ports every day. People want to know what happened in the world while they were sleeping and that’s what our CBS 3 team does. We work hard at night to catch you up in the mornings,” she said.

Valdez joined the CBS 3 team in January 2017 as weekend anchor/reporter. She previously interned for the station in 2016.

CeCe Gaines is taking over as weekend anchor. She joined CBS 3 as a multimedia journalist in June of 2018, and recently graduated with honors from Bethel University in Arden Hills.
