Jerry Carley, Benedictine Health System president /CEO, has been appointed to the LeadingAge Minnesota Board of Directors. BHS is a leading faith-based provider of quality senior care and living services in the Midwest.
“Jerry Carley is a proven leader who shares our mission to transform and enhance the experience of aging. His more than 25 years of experience in the senior care field with extensive governance, financial and operational oversight in multi-site and multi-state organizations, and purpose-driven leadership is a welcome addition to our Board of Directors,” said Gayle Kvenvold, president and CEO, LeadingAge Minnesota.
LeadingAge Minnesota is the state’s largest association of organizations serving older adults. Its nearly 1,000 members, and the 65,000 caregivers they employ, provide quality services and support to 70,000 older adults every day in independent senior housing, assisted living communities, in-home care, adult day services and skilled nursing facilities.

Carley joined BHS in 2015 as a member of the BHS Board of Directors and its finance and strategy committees, and became president/CEO in December 2017. Before joining BHS, Carley was the president and CEO of CSJ Initiatives, Inc., Wichita, Kansas. CSJ Initiatives is a fully integrated senior care company.
