Essentia announces staff appointments

Physician Assistant Steven Foltz has joined the Internal Medicine Department at Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic in Duluth. Most recently, Foltz worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.

He earned a physician assistant degree from Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.; a master’s degree in health sciences from the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill., and a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Arizona in Phoenix, Ariz. Foltz is certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.

Nurse Practitioner Pam Lincoln has joined Essentia Health’s Breast Health Program in Duluth.

Most recently, she worked as director of nursing for Essentia Health’s hospitals in Duluth and Superior. She earned both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. Lincoln is certified as family nurse practitioner and a clinical nurse specialist in adult health by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
