Halvor Lines Inc. of Superior announced several staff appointments and promotions. Adam Lang was named director of human resources. The Albert Lea native is a 19-year resident of Duluth and has over eight years of HR experience including employee performance feedback tools, managing health and welfare plans, policy writing, performance improvement processes and conflict resolution. Peter Haines was named the vice president of fuel strategies and sustainability. He has been with Halvor Lines since January 2012 as vice president of sales and marketing and earlier was vice president of the technical sales group at AMSOIL Inc. Jason Vinje was promoted to sales representative. A 14-year member of the team, his most recent responsibility was parts and service manager, with additional roles tied to buying and selling new equipment, overseeing the maintenance staff and managing equipment. Vinje was instrumental in helping Halvor Lines “GO GREEN” driving initiatives. Shelley Goodiel was promoted to strategic sales director. Goodiel has been a member of the Halvor team since 2002 and has worked in the transportation and logistics field since 1992, working as dispatcher, traffic coordinator, and director of traffic coordinators. Chad Stuber was promoted to parts and service manager. He has been with Halvor Lines, Inc. since 2008 in roles including mechanic, crew leader and his current managerial role. Curt Anderson was promoted to director of sales. He has been at Halvor Lines since 2009 in various roles in the sales department. Anderson’s specialties are fostering business relationships, expanding marketability and account development. Andrew Morinville was promoted to crew leader in the shop/service department. He has been on the Halvor Lines team for 13 years in various roles and responsibilities in the shop/service department. Morinville attended Lake Superior College where he received his degree in diesel and equipment maintenance. Rose Mega was promoted to accounting supervisor. She has been a part of the Halvor Lines team since 2008. Prior to Halvor Lines, she was an accountant for Timberline Express for almost 14 years. Bonnie Ramsay was promoted to director of information technology. She was hired in August of 2012 as a system administrator.
