A longtime Rice Lake physician specializing in primary and emergency care is transferring to Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center’s Family Medicine Department. Dr. John Waldron begins his new duties on Feb. 1. He most recently saw patients in Lakeview Medical Center’s Emergency Department. “We’re thrilled to have someone with Dr. Waldron’s experience and background joining our Family Medicine Department,” said Jolene Anderson, Rice Lake Center administrator. “He’s well known and well respected in our community.” Since 1985, Waldron has practiced medicine in the Rice Lake area. He received his medical degree in 1982 from the University of Minnesota, and completed his residency at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center, now operating as Regions Hospital.
