Bill Sample, owner of Labor Relations Consultants, was named the 2012 Volunteer of the Year for the Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce.

Sample has been a key supporting member for many years as a past board member, ambassador and volunteer for signature events, the Chamber said. He has also served as an organizational human relations consultant in the establishment of personnel policies.

“Bill has played a key role in the growth of this chamber with the gift of his time and talents,” said Mike Lundstrom, Chamber executive director. “It is with great appreciation that we recognize Bill for his contributions as 2012 Chamber Volunteer of the Year! We celebrate his unselfish dedication to our organization as the Chamber 2012 Volunteer of the Year.”
