Duluth, Minnesota - maurices is proud to announce that eighteen students across the country have been awarded a scholarship because of their hard work and dedication. The dressbarn Scholarship Program was developed back in 1996 and has given scholarships to over 350 children of associates at dressbarn and maurices brands. This great benefit is funded by the Jaffe Family Foundation and dressbarn inc.

The scholarships are awarded on several key factors, such as grade point average, extra-curricular activities, future goals, a student essay, and financial need. The scholarships average $3,000-$5,000 for each student to help them off-set higher education expenses.

This year, maurices has awarded $84,000 to 18 deserving students across the country. Recipients included:
