Duluth isn't the only city celebrating Bob Dylan's most recent award.
Hibbing, the city where Dylan grew up, is proud of the success of one of their own and expecting a surge in Dylan tourists after winning the Nobel Prize in Literature.
The city offers tours of the house he grew up in and his high school.
Mayor Rick Cannata said this can be a huge economic boost for the city help when mining isn't always reliable.
"There's so many people that come from all over the country and the world to Hibbing to look at his house. I think this will be a boost to the area and more people coming to the town of Hibbing which is going to boost all the businesses," he said.
Cannata said the group that used to host the Dylan festival in Hibbing has disbanded but he doesn't know if they'll come together again in light of his most recent award. Northland News Center
