MADISON, WI -

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says farmers throughout dozens of counties may qualify for emergency loans to help with losses they may have suffered in the mid-April blizzard.

The loans, which will be given by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will be eligible to those living in the disaster designation area, as well as the counties bordering disaster areas.

Walker says farmers will have eight months to apply for the loans. KBJR
