UnitedHealth Group had higher quarterly and full-year revenues, the company said Thursday. Quarterly revenues of $28.8 billion exceeded the $25.9 billion one year ago. Annual revenues reached $110.6 billion, up from $101.9 billion for 2011. “In 2012 we continued to gain market share and broadened our revenue and earnings growth sources for the future by continuing to focus on ever-stronger execution on the fundamentals of serving our customers.” Stephen J. Hemsley, president and chief executive officer of UnitedHealth Group, said in the quarterly report.
