Field narrowed to three for new WEDC chief

12/26/2012

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) announced three finalists for the permanent position of chief executive officer.

With an initial goal of naming five finalists, the WEDC Search Committee ultimately narrowed its focus to three individuals from a pool of more than 100 applicants. The finalists, all from Wisconsin, are Ralph Howard of Random Lake, Michael Jenkins of Cedarburg and Jason Jensen of Madison. The committee has forwarded those names to Gov. Scott Walker for his consideration.

Advanced Minnesota

In September, Governor Walker named a CEO search committee to identify a replacement for departing CEO Paul Jadin. Members include WEDC board members Scott Klug, Dan Ariens, Corey Hoze and Lisa Mauer. The committee retained The QTI Group, a Madison based executive search firm, to assist in developing and screening a pool of qualified candidates.
