UWS names chancellor finalists

Four finalists for the position of University of Wisconsin-Superior chancellor were announced Monday by UW System President Kevin Reilly. They are:

• Dr. Anantha S. Babbili, professor of media and communication, and former provost and vice president for academic affairs at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Advanced Minnesota
 

• Dr. Cheryl Norton, former president, Southern Connecticut State University.

• Dr. Steven Siconolfi, dean, school of health sciences and human performance,

Ithaca College.

• Dr. Renée Wachter, dean, school of business, Truman State University.

The four candidates will participate in a series of public campus conversations between March 7-14, offering opportunities for faculty, staff, students, and community members to interact directly with the candidates. The campus search and screen committee has announced a schedule for those public conversations, which will be at noon in the Yellowjacket Union on the UWS campus.
