Duluth is about to get its first European style bakery-cafe. On July 7, Duluth's Best Bread At Endion Station will open up inside Endion Station on the Lakewalk from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Fridays through Sundays.
"Europe has an amazing cafe culture where you can just sit with coffee and a pastry and watch the world go by," co-founder Robert Lillegard said in a company announcement. "This will be like Europe, except there's no smoking and you don't have to pay to use the bathrooms."
The Canal Park cafe will serve DBB's French-style croissants, monster cinnamon and caramel pecan rolls, homemade Pop Tarts, crusty sourdough and cranberry wild rice breads. They will also serve a classic quiche with bacon and ham. To drink, there will be espresso drinks like cappuccinos and mochas from Duluth Coffee Co., Fitger's Brewhouse beer, cider and cocktails, and smoothies.
"Yoga on the Deck" will be offered from 7 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays throughout July and August. Participant will trvribr a breakfast discount.
After 11 ba.m., Endion Station opens up for lunch, dinner, music, and drinks.
