The Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau announced Bayfield’s nomination for ‘Best Coastal Small Town’ in America by 10Best, a USA Today organization. The 20 cities in the running were nominated by expert travel writers and journalists. At the time of this press release, Bayfield was in first place.

“Bayfield is extremely proud to be nominated for this nationwide, prestigious award. Once visitors experience Bayfield, they realize it’s a special city, unlike any other," David Eades, executive director of the Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau, said in a news release.

Bayfield is the gateway to the 22 islands of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. The city features hilly streets lined with Victorian-era homes and quaint bed and breakfasts.

According to the rules, voting will continue for 28 days from date of initial publication (June 1) for each new list. At the end of the 28 day voting period, the nominated businesses that have received the most eligible votes will be designated as the Readers’ Choice for their respective categories and be awarded a badge of recognition as the 10Best Readers’ Choice.

People are allowed to vote once per day until polls close on June 29 at 11 a.m. CST. The 10 winning small towns will be announced on Friday, July 10. CLICK HERE TO VOTE.
